Classic This person or company said they were from 02 but they were very AGGRESSIVE and I would be very concerned for anyone who gets a call from them. Be very careful. Scammers claiming to be from HMRC, An automated message will say you are being investigated and that if you do not press 1 to speak to us a warrant will be issued for your arrest. As a registered agent myself I had some fun with them but do not give any personal details out as they are not HMRC.
Automated message telling me my national insurance number is being suspended because it has been linked to various illegal activity and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer if I want to avoid my property being seized and myself arrested. They must think I was born yesterday as I have no intention of pressing 1 where I suspect I would be asked for lots of personal information and a payment to clear a debt I don’t have. I blocked the number instead.
