I received a call from this number just now. He said he was from a company called Technical Help Service and told me my computer had a virus. He tried to convince me using various methods including running the eventvwr (the errors listed there are not related to viruses!) This is identical to the well known Windows Technical Helpdesk scam. Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . Called me at 08 42 3rd February 2021. They hung up before I was able get to the telephone . Since I live in the Scottish Highlands I do not know why someone from Chelmsford is calling me. Nuisance.
Have checked this number with BT and it is a scam caller. Do not do anything that they ask of you.

These people repeatedly call phishing for information stating that they are calling about a car accident. Maybe some poor souls they call talk about an accident they may/ may not have had and pass on personal details. It appears to be a scam and the only way to avoid them calling is to block their number. They called my number >10 times over past 6 months and have never taken it off their system. FYI I was never in a car accident.

SCAM Phoned my elderly neighbour offering a free red emergency panic button . Knew her personal details eg. Age and address and then went on to ask for her card details to secure delivery. Pleasant well spoken lady with Far Eastern voice. When I interjected the call she professed she couldn’t hear me then put the phone down. By the way my neighbour already has a n emergency button !
Untrustworthy. Asked for my passport and driving licence details in order to retrive some funds for me. Said she had an FCA licence and was regulated. Needless to say that she promised to send me her registration details for me to check but never did. Definitely a scam.

SCAM - Just had a call saying they were contacting me about upgrading my phone, so I wasn't best pleased about being disturbed when I'm not feeling well with a very heavy cold. I knew it was a scam straight away as there was no link to my existing provider, so I informed the caller of that and told him to "Bu**er off"! Suggest others do the same.

This number keeps calling me to ask for a previous owner. Every time they call they say they have never called before.
