So a cold caller which I had thought was now illegal. Bad vibes. Don't divulge any details. This comany called to tell me that I had downloaded a malicious file and it was slowing my computer down. Well, despite my undouting that this was scam call, my computer has actually been slow, so I thought I d humor myself and listen to what they had to say... they asked me to press the windows key on my keyboard, when I told the that I had a mac, they hung up haha!
i answered this number and the caller said he was from orange calling about my upgrade, I put him off and he called twice more. I talked about my upgrade, he new all my details and gave his opinion on suitable mobiles for me - even advising on my usage and a better phone for me because of it. I contacted orange the day after and they had no record of my call, upgrade or anything about this ? a waste of time and effort if this was a crank call, not sure of the purpose for the scammer but will be checking m

14/11/2018 - called at 12:37 today. It comes up on my phone as scam caller, I answered anyway and got a recorded message saying " you were called today by roadline, it is nothing to worry about we will call you later" I blocked the number.
