Caller with English accent told me that my loft insulation was faulty and was causing condensation, but nothing to worry about. When asked he said he was from the UK Advisory Information Centre and they ran the Renewable Energy Database where my details had come from. When asked he said he was based in central London. Very plausible good English speaker from Call Prevention Service claiming to be working with the official Telephone Preference Service. Gave a Bournemouth address and a contact name. Selling something to block calls at about ?1.95 a month. There is no such number. You can pay BT same amount for similar service. Suspect also data gathering. I have reported to TPS
