Spam caller claiming to be from Vodafone (my mobile contract isn't with Vodafone), wanting my bank details so they could apply a discount to my contract. Very persistent - when I told them I didn't know my postcode they called back the following night. Even provided me with a (mobile!) number I could call to check that they really were Vodafone.

The call from this number : Once receiver lifted up a recorded female voice , after a pause, said there was no-one available but if I left my number they would get back to me. This has happened a few times but I dont respond in any way...just put phone down.

This is a scam number claiming to be from the HMRC. You get an automated message threatening legal action if you do not contact them. It is of course rubbish. Just block the number and ignore it.
Everest keep calling our land-line depite me telling them the people who they are asking for moved out of our address some 16 years ago. It gets really annoying I have not given them my name I just tell them they have got the wrong number.

Fraud SCAM Called me pretending to be from Amazon saying that someone had ordered an iPhone on my account. They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account.
