Answered because it was a local number to me, but found it to just be rubbish, asking for whoever is the Sky account holder. As soon as I said it wasn t me they hung up.

Yes, they are still operating and looks like they are having a New Year hunt for more people to con, as several friends have had calls from them over the past few days. I take great delight in stringing them along for as long as possible, listening to them get more and more frustrated as I keep asking questions about their blocking box . I know only too well that this is a scam so have no intention of accepting anything from them. To date the longest I have managed to keep one of these scum on the phone is

*SCAM* This phone number came up as International on my caller ID and claimed to be Ofcom saying our internet would be cut due to lack of payment.

Called seven times in two minutes, I still didn t answer. Most likely Direct Legal as the number is similar to one of theirs that I blocked yesterday.

I keep receiving calls from this number despite blocking it - they sometimes phone up to five times a day! They always ask for Andrew, the idiot who must have mistyped his mobile number when downloading a report or who knows what from this "financial" crowd. I ve asked them politely to remove my number from their database ... to no avail. I ve said I m going to report them to the police if they keep calling me, which usually makes them put down the phone if I don t beat them to it!

Rang today, left no voucemail, didnt answer as I didnt know the number and don t know anyone from that area

Called regarding an accident claim, for a road accident that never happened.

absolutely sick of this number ringing, its beyond a joke

cold caller claiming I have fusion insurance, rude and hung up.

Irritating but do not dial it afterwards although only standard rates apply if you do.

Autobot, pretending to be BT, press one for a rep, claiming my broadband has been compromissed. Just cut them off and block them. 3rd call I ve had on 3 different numbers in 2 days. Whyu will the government do nothing about this?

NEVER call unknown numbers back. If you do so, you may be calling a Premium Rate or International number which will incur a large charge on your bill.

PPI company... they re probably as legit as any others but their documents are strewn with typos. I stupidly gave them a tiny bit of encouragement and now they won t leave me alone. Sometimes call from mobiles as they know people get used to the Manchester code...
