They then managed to trigger the Amazon reset password text message and pressured me to give me that code to them, presumably so that they could take control of my Amazon account. Turned out he wanted to know if we d reported an accident in the last 3 year. When I told him I thought my husband had been injured and that it wasn t a very clever way to start a conversation he hung up

Fraud scam. Scam insurance crash call. The call operator was obviously very new at this. Fumbled and stumbled his way through the script in barely understandable “Hind-lish”. I stopped him and told him he was really terrible at this game, should stop now, he’s not cut out to be another sh*tty scammer. Told him his parents would be ashamed of him. He apologised and cut the call.

Had a call from this number saying about an accident, I said I was involved in a RTA, he asked me what was an RTA, I told him I was in my works car, then he butted in before I could finish, he asked what is an RTA. I said I was a traffic officer, what was a lie, they hung up and never called again...
