Received a call from this number.. recorded message of woman’s voice saying it was from Bank security.. That my bank had a request from Amazon for £200+ and bank transfer for £700+ and to cancel press a digit. This number came up as 2 sets of numbers, one was a long number, and another this one I am reporting below it(that is what alerted me) when ringing. Scam!!! Indian woman saying she was from amazon accounts and someone has opened and charged £799 to an account in my name. When I said I don't have an amazon account she said it might be a bank account that they are trying to charge, when I asked who she was actually trying to speak to she didn't even know my name.???? poor attempt and poor English.

An Indian sounding gentleman on a very bad line, claimed to be calling me from Currys PCWorld with a promotion to upgrade my cellphone (his term) for no charge, could I just confirm what phone I currently had? As I do not have a mobile contract through Currys PCWorld I knew this was a scam call and hung up.

Known scam 0845 and 0843 numbers call for a second or two. They rely on you to call back as the number looks official. You are then played a recorded message that is designed to keep you on the line as the call is charged at over a £1 per minute. So you end up paying for the scam and your phone company probably won't help as you made the call willingly.
This number is a scam caller pretending to be from Amazon prime . very dodgy don't fall for it....
