this is a SCAM, they call disguised as a debt collector via a mobile saying you owe money for a High Court Writ and they will call at a given time so its best you pay immediatley. Its a scam.

I said no again but wouldn't take no for an answer I asked why not using Amazon number it was because it was a security number. Told unless I did as asked, payment would go ahead. Just received a call from this number. Caller (who had a very strong Asian accent) claimed to be from PC World. She began with the usual "How are you today?". When I replied "Not very good", she ended the call. Sounds dodgy.
The message came up on Samsung as a potential fraud call and I didn't answer.

Automated voice advising of Tesco security code. I Did not request anything from Tesco. My number is ex directory and on TPS (telephone preference service) so how do they get the numbers? They are scamming parasites.

This call was made from an extremely noisy office, where the background noise was so loud that I had real trouble hearing the person on the line. They offered to call back - and did so, but about an hour later. They said they were calling from my phone company about an upgrade, but when I asked them to confirm which phone company, the caller got very annoyed (raised voice) and defensive - and most importantly, couldn't tell me which phone provider asked them to call.
