Got a fake HMRC call from this number saying I have court case for tax evasion. Hang it up immediatley and pay it no mind.
Caller claimed to be from an organisation which teaches English as a foreign language to Philippine people in need and wanted to recruit me as a volunteer to have conversations with students - quote "they may ask you questions about your life". I asked where I could check this scheme out and he said his manager would call back with further details. Very suspicious. Said from BT regarding my Internet, when I questioned the caller was given abuse, definitely a scam.
Just called me regarding an attempted transaction to John Lewis. Said my account was ‘under attack’ and there had been several suspicious transactions. He said he would escalate my case to Level 3 fraud, set up a new account number and sort code with a random generated name. Phoned Santander fraud department who confirmed my account was safe - the scammer then called me back ‘No Caller ID’! so I told him in no uncertain terms that he was a scamming bastard and he could go forth and multiply.

Claimed to be from British Gas, but wouldn't say the purpose of call before I gave my security details, which I never give to a caller if I'm unsure of their identity. My guess is genuine but still unsolicited call, and they shouldn't expect my security details.

Poor line quality, strong foreign accent. Claimed to be from SKY and had detected "slow internet" on my connection which they could fix at no cost. When I replied that I didn't have any problems, immediately hung up.

Some bloke left a message saying he represented the local authority repair team. Didn't identify themselves or the company they represented. Probably a fraudster. Blocked
Automated call to say that there had been fraudulent activity on our bank account. Then gave 2 amounts. £250 and £1000. (or so).from Amazon. We have had 3 similar calls in the last 3 days. All from different numbers. No money has gone from our account and no bank name was given and therefore I presume that it was a scam.
