They phone and hang up instantly, phone back and the number isn't recognised
keeps ringing, but when you answer you can hear the call centre in the background just before it goes dead. Very irritating.

DANGEROUS Scammer saying he is calling from BT about my internet connection problems. These calls are always a scam. They often know your name and address, so can sound legit. Usually they want you to go online then give them control of your device. They can then get information stored on the device. Banking info, passwords etc. All this under the pretence of helping you. Looks like this is a new number they re using. DEFINITELY BEWARE

Fraud Caller had a strong accent and spoke poor english. There was a lot of background noise as you would expect from a call centre. Asked to speak to my husband but did not mention his first name. SCAM 0161 488 0914. Caller said they were from Sky Technical Department and that there was a problem with my router and internet speed, which there isn't and never has been. Woman spoke with an almost inaudible Indian accent and refused to give her name or confirm my details. I hung up.
