Phone rings then they straight away, had this before probably a scam who are just annoying.

they claimed to be doing local authority survey on local businesses hung up on them as it was not local number apperingon my phone

It called me however the line was terrible so couldn't actually hear what they were saying, but my phone suggested it was spam.

i answered this number and the caller said he was from orange calling about my upgrade, I put him off and he called twice more. I talked about my upgrade, he new all my details and gave his opinion on suitable mobiles for me - even advising on my usage and a better phone for me because of it. Three calls today from 01429 870 782 (twice) and 01429 870 783. No voice at the other end and when I say Hello they hang up. I do not hear any background noise when I pick up my phone.

As all others call was terminated before I even had chance to react to my phone lighting up in front of me. From reading other comments I haven t rang back, nor do I intend to.

Seems dodgy because they pretend to be your supplier in order to get your meter readings but they do in fact work for just most if not all of the major energy suppliers and are totally legit

it rang at 14.16 23/8 when i answered it hung up My guess is whoever is on the other end of the phone makes a decision on whether its worth having a conversation to scam any money off them by the way they answer - as they would know who they could pull the wool over the potential victims eyes & who theyve no chance of winning I answered it with a firm Hello .If it had been a pensioner i reckon they wouldve started a conversation anyone know who the company is

applied for loan online. received loads of ph calls & sms claiming they can sort loan, just ph them to proceed. same as other people are commenting, you get given another number to ph, which is 09no. told cost of call will be refuunded, & loan never materialises. Obviously a scam, got be fair though all seemed very genuine in beginning. glad i looked into it in more detail. 1 to avoid in future, have now blocked number
