Asked if I'd been in an accident, I replied "I don't know have I?", put me through to someone else, rude "have you been in an accident or not", I said "have you?" and they hung up.
TAXES / HMRC SCAM - Received a call from this number. Recorded message informing me that a letter from HMRC had been returned and therefore proceedings are going to be issued against me. I was instructed to press '1' to speak to an advisor but I hung up instead and reported the call to ICO.org.uk. I am hoping that this is not somebody's private number being cloned.
Called our business asking for accounts payable. Said his company was called Essential which is not one of our suppliers, so admin screened the call, got rid of him and then we looked up the number to check if it was legitimate and found it wasn t. So we didn t call him back to find out what his pitch or spiel might be.
