Called them back loads of times this morning (using 141 prefix) to ask if they would like to make a PPI claim, buy double glazing, have their PC virus fixed.
Yet another text claiming I have a package to be delivered and a dodgy link for me to book a delivery with. I haven’t ordered anything and I know the link is designed to steal information from my phone by a scammer.

TAXES / HMRC Automated message. Had similar before. “This is HMRC. You are under investigation for tax fraud. Press 1 immediately to speak to your case officer. I get calls from this number every day on my mobile, sometimes twice or three times a day. I never give this number to anyone except close friends! Scam - Robotic voice recording claiming to be from British Telecom advising my telephone line about to be disconnected, that I should return the call right away. I did not return the call.
After being scammed before are very wary of cold calls and scams. However, this one was picked up without really looking or thinking but I must say this seems a dangerous one because this did sound almost genuine with (as above, claiming to be HMRC). In our case, the line just went dead after it told us to press one to speak to an officer. This is one that could catch unexpecting people out so be careful! We keep it as rule that if in any doubt, ONLY answer numbers that are 0800 or gov numbers (030) unless
