When I refused to give these the called became irritated and annoyed so I said that I was not giving out anything over the telephone . Received several more calls which I ignored . I am elderly and diabled, and answered the call and the caller rang off immediately.
Definite scam. Claimed (falsely) to be Harry from Carphonewarehous3 in London calling because "we have a special offer on new phones today". I live in Scotland, he's calling from London claiming to be a big phone store. They would never ring me like that, nor you either. How could he have got my number legitimately? He immediately went into "what phone are you using?" Obviously looking to sound like he could choose an upgrade whilst scamming you out of the cost of the non-existent
