Automated message telling me my national insurance number is being suspended because it has been linked to various illegal activity and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer if I want to avoid my property being seized and myself arrested. They must think I was born yesterday as I have no intention of pressing 1 where I suspect I would be asked for lots of personal information and a payment to clear a debt I don’t have. I blocked the number instead.

Enjoyed stringing him along, the man from First Response / MIB (Motor Insurance Bureau) I asked if he meant the Men In Black, as he was calling to see if my RTA had been sorted out, I asked which one he was referring to as I said I have had few LOL, he couldn t give the information he was referring to but said in the last 2.5 years. Sent text message to my mobile claiming to be from BT - then asked name and BT number. I refused further information on the grounds that BT already have my address and was given some unbelievable story about my mobile number having come up in some other context. Two hours later, the same message arrived on my wife s mobile. Clearly some sort of scam but I do not know what.
Heard a few beeps and I hung up. So used to hearing an Asian accent telling me my computer needs attention etc. Getting weary of it.

This company has been ringing my home phone for months on lots of different numbers. I never answer as I have caller display They leave a message for someone I have never heard of and say that they need me to ring back as they need to contact this person urgently.
Advised they were from the National Crime Agency and requested i selected and option. Sounded suspicious so i hung up. Nothing reported previously. NCA confirmed it's a scan and they are aware.

Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!

I have told them I am in dispute with the company which has employed them but they keep calling and saying they want to talk to me. I wrote to them and told them that I do not accept calls as everything must be in writing. They do not stop despite the industry rules.

CAlled on 001463718462 @10 .03 20th March . No-one spoke but background noise sounded like a call centre. Then a male voice uttered two words "fuck off". Without the double 00 this would be an Inverness number (where I live) with a single ZERO but the double 00 makes it probably from anywhere in the world, So I'lll call it dangerous but "nasty" might be a better description.
This is the second time I have had a reminder for an Appointment supposedly from NHS no reply.However they leave this number.As I live in Hampshire and this code is Glasgow area...

Missed call - Unknown number. Rang but left no message. I never answer unknown numbers due to the volume of scams. Any genuine caller would leave a message. Any polite caller would leave a message. Therefore this number is from a person who is neither genuine or polite. Not someone I wish to talk to!
