Hi I have gotten about 4 missed calls from +442890438150. If i answer it goes dead. My mobile rings about 3 times and then it goes. I trying to block my number on my mobile. I also live near the Limerick am with Metero and have contact a number of insurance companies including aviva, 123, chill and fbd.

Scam call from HMRC. Caller message is in an American accent and when you call back its an offshore rather than UK dial tone and they answer as HMRC - clearly a scam of some sort and not a very convincing one. Caller blocked but beware!!!

Caller to our TPS registered number wrongly claiming to be "your current energy supplier". Attempted to tell me I was wrong when I told him that they weren t our supplier, and demanded to know if I was "the manager", and then attempted a line of stammering bullshit when I asked him to prove his credentials by quoting me the account number and the name of the account holder. A complete, lying, shyster who got himself told to sod off, in fairly short order.

I was on here one day ago, complained about this lot already, they have called me yet again a day later. Reported to TPS first time, will do so again, I m not interested in their boiler replacement scheme.
Fraud Some investment company, told me I had registered my interest...how else would they have got hold of my number? Same as other companies do - bought a list or random generator - the caller then hung up. Number now blocked.

Called me several times, insisting I had opted in. I used their website contact form to complain and to my surprise got a reply offering to tell me where they got my details, BUT for a fee of 10.00! They also said my numbers had been removed but they ve just called my mobile... They are now blocked. TPS/OFCOM/ICO are useless so long as these people can claim you have opted in. There needs to be a mechanism for checking and revoking opt-ins. Or better still make the default on all websites opt-OUT,

SPAM Every week, same girl calling, different name thought up, going on about me having an accident.. every time say NO! I Block the number but still they call time and time again on other numbers. Why keep calling? When the answer is ALWAYS NO and to stop calling! I’m TPS protected but they still get through, so bored of it, waste of their time let alone mine!

SCAM The guy calls and says the warranty on my 13 year old machine is expiring today and as its still in woorking order, they have an offer from £12pm to £9pm... I didnt even have warranty on the machine. I hung up the call, he calls back and says : Are you feeling alright? I asked him, ARE YOU FEELING ALRIGHT? and hung up on the c*** again. Automated debt relief call - I hung up too soon to find out the name of the company. I ve no patience for this rubbish. I, too, am TPS registered - and my details are not listed on the version of the electoral register available for purchase, either. I suppose this shows how much good either does in preventing junk calls. I keep my landline unplugged when not in use as I receive so many PPI calls on that!
Only just reactivated my faithful old w995i, it s been on 5minutes and this numbers tried to call me. I didn t answer as everyone on my contacts list knows I use a different number, it s not the first time they ve called but I m on Orange not Vodafone??
