At first I thought they were legit saying they were Homeserve to discuss Warranties on my white goods. They knew my full name, address details, and obviously had my phone number, but when the conversation turned to my financial details.......smelt a rat! I was phoned today saying from a young chap claiming I was going to receive a letter tomorrow informing me of a PPI refund, and somehow my bank suddenly owes me money back. I asked this chap which bank may owe me this money, he said it could be from one of several banks which I have accounts with, which he just named several banks off a list. These are atelemarketing company selling will-writing and estate services. Nothing wrong with that but my mother-in-law is on the TPS. We called them and they promised to take her number off their list. You can always contact them on 0800 0194557 - dial the number without the first 0 from mobiles and it registers as a free call
