Rang today claiming to be from the British Gas metering team. I asked them to prove it by providing my account number. Gave me a string of numbers - not my account number. Foreign accent.

I answered a call from this number. The person claimed to be called James from a company called Relief Energy. So far as I can determine, there is no official record of any such company, making me certain that it is a scam.

Guy with foreign accent talking about having to change my meter!! Had an agressive tone when questioned about exactly who he represented. Beware, this is some kind of fraud or scam.

Man with Asian accent said he was calling from Virgin Media about my internet connection. He said they were having some problems which are affecting my internet connection but the call then disconnected. I've been with Virgin for many years and they've never once phoned me when there's been problems in the past. There is absolutely nothing wrong with my internet connection and I'm convinced that this was a scam call so I'm rating as dangerous.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. A call from this number (unaswered) was received late at night by a phone that has been hacked two weeks ago and the service provider seems not to have been able to put the account out of reach of the criminal, despite a great deal of correspondence with them. They called at 7.38am claiming to be from Microsoft and wanting to speak to the computer owner. They hung up when I answered no to all their questions about my computer.

Fraud Haha what an idiot, “hello I’m a bailiff, you owe us money, I have a writ but I can’t possibly show it to you, bla bla bla” God mate your entire family must be ashamed of you, back to the crack pipe and not seeing your kids haha.

I was rang, and the caller was ringing about diesel claims. When I told him I wasn't interested and to remove me from the database, he shouted me down and asked me why I was interested. He continued to talk over me, saying he was working alongside the Dept of Transport and I should listen to him. NUMBER BLOCKED!

SCAM Asked to speak to me by name and then hung up when I confirmed it was me. Possible scam or fishing for info. Number now blocked. Also had a missed call an hour earlier from 02038077025 so suspect same people.

02045384523 has called me on my mobile about 10 times within 15 minutes, I answered just one time, no one replied back to me but I could hear mass talking in the background, hung up within seconds.
