We are NOT in any way associated to the people making these calls. They use our name as a cover. We have reported this to the relevant authorities on a number of occasions. Got a call this morning from a lady. I could hardly understand a word she was saying. Thick accent and slow sounding voice. I repeatedly apologised for not being able to understand and asked her to repeat herself. She hung up.

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

Rang numerous times to here, when answered there is a long silence, when a voice does enter the equation they were very rude to me and shouted down the phone why I wasnt listening.
