Got called in Ireland from this number. Cancelled my Sky TV subscription because of the sheer amount of crap on it, repeats of stuff that has been repeatedly repeated on a repeating basis. Usual shite that I saw years ago is still being repeated and programmes from last week repeated again the following week or even the next night. Rubbish. Just received a call from this number asking if we take American Express - I advised no and asked what company they were from assuming it was a customer. He just said he was exploring opportunities for points on his cards. This number appears to be associated with American Express but it would be nice if they were honest about the reason for their call. Call back not possible as I would have asked to be removed from their database.

Person from this phone called me and asked if he was speaking with person X (using my name), Hi said YES, and the fucker hanged up! Must be a way to confirm identities and then target you with phishing, SPAM, etc.
Apparently, according to recorded voice, the National Crime Agency are going to suspend my National Insurance number and arrest me. This is unlikely. This is the only one of 4 unknown calls from Vodafone numbers I have answered in the last couple of days but suspect all of the same ilk.

Caller claimed to be representing blockchain.com claiming I had an account with them containing about £4,000.00 (I know that I have never had anything to do with cryptocurrency). I told them I knew this was a scam. They wouldn't stop pushing, so I played along a little. They then asked me to download Teamviewer. So they were either likely going to lock me out of my computer or attempt to steal my passwords. I gave the guy a serious roasting and hung up.

This is about the 5th similar Sheffield number making repeat and unsolicited calls to my phone. We have a call handling service and they don t leave a message. I have now blocked this number too.
Pretended to be from VISA security, asked me to download www.anydesk.com. (I didn't do it! Don't you do it!). Gave a land line number (when the 07 number is obviously a mobile).
