Caller with English accent told me that my loft insulation was faulty and was causing condensation, but nothing to worry about. When asked he said he was from the UK Advisory Information Centre and they ran the Renewable Energy Database where my details had come from. When asked he said he was based in central London. I said central London was a big place and did he have a precise address at which point he terminated the call. The phone number was not recognised on a 1471. Obviously some scam to get

SCAM / SPAM Basically saying they are calling from Amazon prime and you have been charged for your subscription, I asked which card as I had three linked to my account, he couldn't tell me. So I stated he was a scam trying to get my details and he hung up on me...Well if that isnt a clear indication that they are up to no good, I dont know what is. Just received a call from this number who said they were from EE. I think it was tele marketing as he asked how many mobiles were in the home. Told him I thought he got my number from a data base and that if EE wanted me they would txt me or email me.

Robo-caller at 0830 on a Saturday. When I answer there was the noise of a call centre then they hung up. This is Vanquis. I have no card with them, no cards at all!, yet they will not stop phoning

They always hang up as answering machine connects the call. Did look at their offers recently so must have given my phone number to check coverage.
When I answered the call I got a recorded message in what sounded like Chinese. I hung up at that point.
Keeps calling - not leaving message. Surely these cold callers cannot get enough business to make it worth their while ... if everyone would just not buy from them ...
Scam center, very unprofessional, by the way. Calling about some broadband errors, that wasn't even my provider, then when I said, that it sound suspicious, started yelling "shut up, shut up" on me and hung up. Very amusing experience

Best advice I can give is BLOCK BLOCK BLOCK the muppets. They disputed my PPI Claim as they offer Repayment Option, only changed the name in 2008 so got company sorting it now. Had my card 11 years so know I m owed thousands & Im not payin em a penny more till sorted. My hubby paid approx 680 over 7 years on his natwest & got ?2,196 back. It s worth checking everyone, we couldn t believe it as his limit was only ?800 & a business card. Good luck & keep blocking...

A company who's email doesn't exist and address that doesn't either. Reckon I've signed up for Body and Mind Rewards, which I haven't and have a few weeks to cancel, which you cannot as email bounces back.
Received a couple of calls over the last two days from this number - missed calls on my mobile. Entered the number into search engine and found these comments - very useful. I too have just put details into Aviva and a short term car insurance cover company - and these calls started immediately - funny that! Now I ve seen comments - will just ignore number
