SPAM - Had an asian man called Ben asking how i was, wasnt clear on where he was calling from. when i asked him to repeat it, he terminated the call
SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. It is a number for Waste Managed Ltd. They used to be Cheaperwaste Ltd. Terrible waste brokers in Newcastle. One to avoid so don't let them have your bank account number, or let them start a contract for you. There is a Facebook group, Cheaperwaste Waste Managed Unhappy Customers which reports terrible things.

This number called me. There was a bit of noise in the background, i said hello twice and then a male voice of what i would guess is south Asian descent said "do you love me?". I replied "What?" assuming i'd mis heard and he just repeated the same question so i hung up.

This is a scam, claim to be calling from EE Promotions. Tried selling me a Iphone 15 Pro so somehow there have a phone which is not even been made yet. Didn't even ask who I was. Do not give them any information. EE provides a list of numbers on there website where there will call you from, this is not on that list.

Call from what sounded like Indian call centre. Said it was EE. Couldn’t understand word he was reciting from obvious script. I hung up.
They called me then but rang off quickly before I could answer then left me an extremely bizarre voicemail that just sounded like someone typing for ages on a computer with no speaking on it.
Over the last two weeks there have been a number of High Wycombe calls, which are trying to con you about Amazon prime, silence, or a annoying hiss. This particular call is an annoying hiss. I have collected about 16 numbers in this time period of the same ilk.
