DANGEROUS Scammer saying he is calling from BT about my internet connection problems. These calls are always a scam. They often know your name and address, so can sound legit. Usually they want you to go online then give them control of your device. They can then get information stored on the device. Banking info, passwords etc. All this under the pretence of helping you. Looks like this is a new number they re using. DEFINITELY BEWARE
Indian accent man, all he did was asking me yes/no questions... like, are you ____? is ____ your postcode? have you got a mortgage? are you happy with your bank? After I replied to his questions he said ok have a lovely day an hung up... which I found weird. Unfortunately, it was until he hung up that I realised he might have been recording my yes/no answers to use this for any sort of identity fraud or scam... Im very scared now and don t know what to do

I seldom get nuisance cals these days but as soon as I have time I Google them to check authenticity, then put them on the Truecall if not trusted. Fraud Telephoned 04/12/20. I gave no name when answering and they did not ask who I was. Young lady immediately started with "I understand that you have been in an accident which was not your fault". I have not had an accident and any reputable company would have identified who they were dealing with as a priority. Shut her down immediately and barred number.
