Called our business, man with Indian/Asian accent asked for the business owner by name. Possible telemarketing (possibly scam) as it took a minute to connect to the call once I answered, definite call centre in the background. He wouldn't tell me which company he was calling from.
Fraud - Suggesting they were from BT regarding my broadband. I have been having problems with it but I’m aware of phony callers pretending to be providers - BT not any of the other providers would call you out of the blue so they hung up on me lol - thought you were supposed to be helping me with an issue? SCAM!!!

Three times today (8 June 2017) this number has rung me and when I answer the line goes dead.

SCAM Took a few seconds to connect, then had the telltale click of a switchboard thing. Indian person saying they’re from [indistinguishable] asking how I was, I said I was fine thanks and asked how they were. They proceeded to say they have a deal with Vodafone and blah blah blah. I couldn’t be bothered to play along so I said no thank you and hung up.

Text allegedly from Wage Day Advance, asking me to contact them urgently. I have never had any dealings with them.
It s a company called Boost energy. I rang the no to check, but didn t engage. They have rung everyday for over 3 weeks now, leaving silences on my answermachine. I won t answer, so expected them to give up, but they don t I m on Telephone preference for a reason! I find this really harrassing.

Retarded call system means you wait a while to have the "agent" speak to you. Rude staff, the typical rubbish ambulance chasing type. Sitting at home, ill after being sent home from work, I receive a call from these clowns. Starts babbling on about how they can reduce my "debt" by 70% before I d even had the time to draw breath. I told the little gimp that I was registered with the TPS, he replied "I ll just check that". I replied "no need to check little boy I m telling you and I m also telling you to not call me again otherwise I ll report you". Parasitic nuisances how I wish I could send 50,000 volts down the receiver.
This number was just used to send me an automated scam call claiming that a criminal case had been opened against me for tax evasion.

I m called from this number frequently. Nowadays I usually let the answerphone take the call, and then check 1471. Today s caller said he was from British Consumer . As TPS has confirmed, there s no such company. Someone who posted a comment here was asking why BT etc don t block these calls since the number is known. It s because BT and the other telephone providers make money offering a service that subscribers can sign up to specifically to block such calls – they ride on the back of these people
