It called me 3 times on 31-03-2023. I didn't pick up, and no messages were left.
Miss No idea who. Not Crewe phone number. Is Crewe area code, spoofed number. I ignored call. No voice message left. No text or email received either. Similar numbers have called before and I don't answer as end numbers after 01270 are not from within Crewe itself. I know as in Crewe myself. These are spoofed numbers calling landlines and mobiles in hope of catching people out if they know someone from Crewe and surrounding local towns that also use 01270 area code. They just called me pretending to be from motability insurance asking about recent accident with my motability car. My car hasn’t been in an accident but is currently in for repair at the dealership following an RAC call out when my battery was flat and the car wouldn’t start. I don’t know how these scammers got my unlisted mobile number or even knew I have a motability car (which has a private plate on it). Someone has given them my personal information. Guy hung up when I was in mid sentence.
