Fraud Caller had a strong accent and spoke poor english. There was a lot of background noise as you would expect from a call centre. Asked to speak to my husband but did not mention his first name. Scam phone call claiming to be hmrc tax office. Automated call claiming I have been involved in tax fraud and unless I press 1 a warrant will be issued for my arrest.
Had a missed call from this number at 18.17 this evening (Wednesday 22/10). Anyone recognise it? Apparently the Grantham area. No message left.

DANGEROUS Scammer saying he is calling from BT about my internet connection problems. These calls are always a scam. They often know your name and address, so can sound legit. Usually they want you to go online then give them control of your device. They can then get information stored on the device. Banking info, passwords etc. All this under the pretence of helping you. Looks like this is a new number they re using. DEFINITELY BEWARE

Fraud SCAM: We’ve been speaking to BT about this and they confirmed the call was indeed a scam. A spokesperson from BT us, “We’ll never call a customer to tell them their router or IP address has been compromised or ask for any personal information, including bank details unexpectedly and we’ll never call from an ‘unknown’ number.
Stoneacre Garage in Goole. They wanted to do a Customer Satisfaction Survey from an MOT done. Very professional and courteous company in my opinion!
Appears to be a scam Loan Company, I had applied through a broker recently but these guys wanted to take my Bank Details over the phone...told them to do one :o)
