Call is coming from location in Russia. On answering it just goes dead.
Called today and left voicemail supposedly from my bank about suspicious credit card transactions, one £300 at Amazon and one £1,100 with an international currency transfer service. It is a scam - fraud office of bank does not phone and leave a pre-recorded message!

Strange phone call and hung up after they called me.
This number rang, but no response when answered
Number called saying they were from the security department of my bank. No bank name was given. apparently there were two transactions going through on my card, one for Amazon and another larger sum was an international money transfer. I was invited to press 1 to cancel the transactions or 2 to confirm. Naturally I did neither.

Don't know who called me from this number. I jumped out of bed when the phone rang but I didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number. It was 7:36 am ffs! Even the sun was still in bed where I live in Greater Manchester and I do't even know where Thanet is, never mind why someone from there would be phoning me at an ungodly hour. I highly suspect this was a scam call.
'Michael' claimed to be from Microsoft and wanted to know if I was the main user of my computer. Although a Leeds number it sounded very long distance as if was coming from India. I hung up.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. This number tried to call me twice. I don’t know who they are. I did not answer the first time, the second time I made my boyfriend answer and they hung up on him as soon as he said hello. I then messaged them saying “who is this?” They responded at midnight saying “He’ll be there in the morning to meet you, code on the gate is the same. Get to bed!” I blocked their number as soon as they sent that message. It has really freaked me out and I’m scared that someone is going to come to my house.
100% FRAUD! They left me a voicemail, quoting a DHL import duty invoice that I paid 3 weeks ago. I called them, spoke to 'RAJU' - he knew all about me, my company and my invoice, but said don't worry as you've already paid. This is obviously someone at DHL leaking account details to fraudsters, who are preying on people who don't know/remember that they've already paid. SCAM Scammers pretending to be my network provider O2. I'm not with O2, they using this number which when googled comes up with a restaurant. I can only assume their spoofing the number using voice over Internet calls.
