This is a genuine Santander Fraud Department number. However I suggest you always call your bank using the number on the back of your Debit/Credit Card to check. This what I did and it was confirmed my Debit Card was being used by criminals, so needed cancelling and replacing.

I am getting regular silent calls from this number even though I am registered with the TPS. I have now tracked them down and the number belongs to a supposedly reputable charity fundraising organisation. I say supposedly reputable since no genuinely reputable company would make such a nuisance of themselves, especially on TPS registered numbers. Received a text message from this mobile purporting to be from DVLA advising that my car tax is overdue and to click on a link to prevent further penalties. my car tax is not overdue , double checked separately to gov website to make sure payment received last month
I do not answer the telephone number and no message is left when i did it was about PPI and they insisted I had it which I did not.I put the phone down they knew my name which is not acceptable

Fraud said they were to do with repairs. Lots of voices and noise in background. Asked if I was council housing association, when I told them they should know this, they started asking if I had reported damp, mould, cracked windows or any other jobs. I told them they should have that on the computer and to tell me which they are calling for... I got ok madam good day and they hung up. Sounded like they were calling from India not London as showing on screen.
