Scam from asian sounding male suposedly working for Virgin Media and claiming that my router was faulty. After getting me to jump through some hoops, told me that I would be getting a new router and £204.56 in compensation. That when I realised it was a scam and they needed my account details which they did not get.
Funny enough I had a message like the one below, but I haven't called them: “Hello, Thames Water here. Thanks for your recent call. How satisfied were you with the service our advisor provided, on a scale of 5 (very satisfied) to 1 (very unsatisfied)?”

2 weeks ago I answered and a lady with very little knowledge in englsih talked to me. She could not say the company name or anything. I told her to delete my cell phone number completely and said I wasn t interested at all in anything she could say. Despite this that number has called me in average 2-3 times a day... for 2 weeks.. As there is no company name to be told - I suspect they re nothing but hackers.. But can t say for sure.

However I do know that once connected to your computer they can lock you out unless you make payments to them. SCAM me thinks. Then I realised after having put the phone down that there is no way to check that I was actually speaking to a member of staff of the NHS. Too late!
