Stating to be HMRC and a tax fraud alert has been made in my name. I had to press 1 to talk to an officer or an arrest warrant would be made and I would have police at my door immediately. SCAM of some sort, I didnt press 1 so dont know what they would have done

Missed call I woke up to a missed call from 8:39pm - in Australia. There was an 11 second voice message which sounded like a noisy pub but no one spoke directly for the voice message. I called back and it said the number wasn’t in service.

I switched to Eon a couple of months ago, had a couple of letter saying want to install a smart meter but not replied as awaiting the mark 2 ones to be the ones fitted, and read the Mark 1 ones can be a real pain and lots of hassle when if they go wrong and mis-record, and you energy supplier does not believe you, taking excessive DD payments etc etc ... so expect the phone call could be about trying to get the smart meter installed

Denied she was selling anything when I informed her of our TPS registration and that the company doesn t accept cold sales. She the said they d been a change in the regulations and started to become aggressive, finally shouting "Oh, forget it then!" before ending the call. Thoroughly nasty piece of work.
