Scammer block it. Someone pushing smart meters would actually know that 2G will soon be phased out, and 3G in due course, and there is little point in fitting 2G meters now. 2G meters will have to be replaced. They should also know who is paying to power the meter (not us!) and to understand and be able to provide a VPN for the connection and an RF filter for protection. (PS If offering a 4G meter, they should also know whether 4G cover is available at your location - if not then call their bluff!)
Fraud, It is a computer message saying you are being investigated for tax fraud and a warrant issued. Press _ etc. Do not respond to the fraudster. Warrants are not issued over the phone and HMRC will write you if they have any queries.
We ve had 3 calls off this number so far and like previous people on here we had donated to Soccer Aid as well. Were not impressed and we won t be donating by text ever again. Sort it out Unisef,it puts people off from donating.

Whenever I register with one of those sites I always am careful to tick, or untick, any boxes that instruct them NOT to contact me. A foreign sounding man introduced himself as John Parker and said I was due for refund of bank charges. I gave him my dob (I recently claimed charges and for a second thought it was genuine.)I would never give bank details and said so. I just said Lloyds bank(not true).He said his boss will phone me today. They called this morn and I didn t answer. Dreading the phone ringing now and worried giving my dob was a dangerous thing. He didn t swear but got more impatient as the call went on.
