Was called from this number with a robotic message claiming to be an urgent message from HMRC about a fraud to do with me. I put the phone down before hearing the full message but on ringing back later got no response/dead line. This seems like it is a hoax designed to get people's personal details.

I missed the call but then the number 07775555028 sent me a text message to say "Voicemail message received 10:34 on 13th Jul. Duration 6s. Click or call 22215 to hear this message at your normal call rate." which all seems very scammy. The number 22215 was linked so I wouldn't say its safe to click it. Very dodgey text and not expecting a call from anybody

Best cold call ever. I answered, I was asked for by name and I asked who was calling. The fella said AMS Legal so I said I m not interested and put the phone down. They called back straight away and straight off the same person said what are you not insterested in? - I laughed and said are you for real to which he replied yes, very much and you ll never know about the opportunity that you ve just missed out on and hung up. This number rang me today exactly a week after this one 07428478737 as I have no idea who the first one is I have now blocked them both. It is very odd that they ring from the same network which is Three a week apart on the same day using the same beginning numbers. If you ring it back it claims not to be taking calls suggesting some sort of scam. I have reported them as nuisance callers.

I know many people who will no longer answer their landline unless they recognise the callers number. It is businesses like IJT, boiler-room scams and PPI Claim companies who have changed the telephone from a useful tool and friend into a nuisance ridden pain in the arse. Well done everyone!
