Foreign asian voice. "I'm 'phoning about your Insurance claim" I asked where from. He answered UK. I replied "You dirty liar I'm reporting you to the police." and phone went dead I did the (call back) and number 0141 649 0791 came up. I dialed this number with and without area code but "the number you have dialed has not been recognised" What is BT playing at allowing unregistered numbers to call. I hold them responsible. Should the police not be involved.

Unintelligible call from an alleged technical support line, sounded Asian! Hung up when they were told we could not understand.
Claimed to be from a firm called Douglas Brown associates. Went through the whole list of PPI, recent holiday, life insurance. Was pleasant enough but still an unsolicited cold call.

Caller had my name and started by saying he wasn t trying to sell me anything and then began asking me if I watch television via Sky, Freeview or other. When I asked what the purpose of the call was, he said something about me being a retired person. I told him I m not retired and he hung up.
Answered the phone to them- would tell them my name- the blithe was rude to me then hung up!!!!!
This appears to be a false number, sounded like a call centre. The caller sounded foreign, and was persistent. There are no local numbers starting with 342.

My call intercepter did not put this call through. There has to be a person on the end of the line not just an autodialling system as they have to give a name before it is transferred to me to accept or decline. Sorry I am unable to shed any light as to who this firm is, but I guess it is cold call selling (despite being registered with TPS) or could be a scam, either way I do not want to have anything to do with them.
