Fraud I have call from this number today informing me about fraudulent transaction on my Amazon account for over £1000 and that because of this my account is blocked. To unblock it I have to press 1 etc. Firstly, I do not have Amazon account so i knew that something is wrong.

Sent a text message first, saying they were from BT and would give me a call. The caller had a strong indian accent, and informed that my internet had been compromised, possibly by overseas third parties. asked me to go through various tests ie logging onto my tesco account, and checking my bank statements. When i refused to do so, the caller got a little shirty, asking what was the basis for this? Then threatened to disconnect my line. when I told her she couldn't do that, as my bills were paid regularly

I received a txt asking if I made a transaction to DHL for £1,400 didn't say from which bank/building Society so don't know if its genuine or not. Txt Y back if you made the transaction but if not call 08432896064 which I have done 4 times. They don't answer with a name of the company and keep you on the phone in a queue system I gave up at 20 minutes. I still do not know if it is a scam or genuine which is a pain. Going to ring BT to see what they say.

The operator (in a very noisy call centre) said it wasn't a marketing call and then asked me if I had a frozen pension? I said I wouldn't answer that question, but please continue. They wanted to give me "a free pension review" she said. I innocently said that was very kind, but why do you want to do that? How do you make a profit from that? A brief silence then she hung up. Clearly a scam to get your pension details or offer dubious 'services'.

Looks like another Scam or Fraud as I'm not due any delivery's and the Post Office leave a card through your door when they can't get an answer, also I was in the whole day, I have reported the text message and number to the Ofcom scam text number: 7726 must be the 7th number I've reported now since I found the number to report scams to.
