When I answered the caller (automated I assume) just hung up - so I assume this is an extended warranty type of call as others have mentioned. Will happily ignore any other calls from this number - glad I found this website, very useful.

Claimed to be working for a pool of insurers and needed me to provide my policy number, insurer and details so that they could go into the right part of their system. I advised that as they had called me but new none of my information, I was unwilling to discuss further with them. They then hung up.
