Waffled on about global pandemic and making small. I had to ask him twice who he was and what he wanted. Eventually, he said he wanted me to participate in an economic survey. I told him, no thank you, I wasn't interested, he kept trying to talk over me and I hung up. A few seconds later he rang back asking why I hung up. I told him again I'm not interested in whatever it is. He answered back 'not interested in what' getting confrontational. I hung up again.

I said you should already have those details if you're from carphone warehouse at which point she started to stumble and kept asking me what contact. I ve received a call on my mobile phone today from 0161 939 0236 telling me that I ve had a loan and I m entitled to a refund plus interest because I was mis sold the loan. This is One Insurance Solution, a genuine company that I have a policy with coming up for renewal, hence their calls.
My husband passed the call to me as it related to my washing machine insurance renewal so I did not hear any name or how the call started. He did rather a hard (and fast) sell with a reduced annual figure but taking 3 years immediately. He seemed to have details of my current annual figure. I checked with D&G who deal with the insurance and they did not recognise the phone number as belonging to anyone working for them.
