This number started ringing on a weekly basis and now I am receiving at least 1 missed call each day from this number. When I answer the call, I cannot understand the company nor the guys name who is calling. I am really getting angry, do not answer this call.

Said they were from EE asking about how happy I am with my PAYG plan and handset and if they could improve it. Asked what handset I had and why I was content with my pack then let me go happily. Seems trustworthy and didn t ask for any other info.

I was phoned today saying from a young chap claiming I was going to receive a letter tomorrow informing me of a PPI refund, and somehow my bank suddenly owes me money back. I asked this chap which bank may owe me this money, he said it could be from one of several banks which I have accounts with, which he just named several banks off a list. Indian caller pretending that his name was Nigel and that he was from The call barring service . Knew surname of account holder and a partially correct address for the property (i.e. they d got the address from an address database, and not from us). Started a spiel about nuisance calls and how they want to get everyone onto the new government service - at which point I hung up on the shyster.

The BeWise insurance company ignore tick boxes stating NO contact - they will contact you regardless. When you tell them to remove your details from their database, they still call the next year. The Ombudsman needs to investigate this company.
