This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. This company called our 0203 line about renewing a contract. We are in France we have never had an EON contract. They are sales people cold calling telephone numbers - should not be legal. I switched to Eon a couple of months ago, had a couple of letter saying want to install a smart meter but not replied as awaiting the mark 2 ones to be the ones fitted, and read the Mark 1 ones can be a real pain and lots of hassle when if they go wrong and mis-record, and you energy supplier does not believe you, taking excessive DD payments etc etc ... so expect the phone call could be about trying to get the smart meter installed
