Call up to 4 times a day at different times, a real nuisance

Sounded like they were calling from a pub. Man said that I had a bad credit rating due to outstanding loan - not true

Have had three of these calls within last 48 hours. The last call was from a female (Far east accent) who asked for a name that was similar to mine but incorrect, I told them I wasn t interested and she shouted down the phone wor before hanging up!!!

Hal s reply is spot on. If someone sends a text message to your landline and you don t pick up the phone it gets stored for you to retrieve later. This 0795 number is where you collect the message, plus the number of the mobile phone that sent the text. It s not dangerous. All depends on what the text message says, of course - that could be anything. In my case it was someone texting to say Sorry I Missed Your Call. See? Not dangerous.

when I answer a call from this number, they automatically dial another number which I would no doubt have to pay for if I did not hang up immediately. I hope these kind of calls can be stopped. I have, in the past, been called by the same method and have been charged for a premium rate number.

She asked whether I had private pensions and whether it would be possible that somebody would see me face to face to go through my private pensions.
