a lady said I had 5 free tickets for euro millions for tonight, I asked politely for my number to be renoved as im not interested. she then said" well its a chance to win free money, im pretty sure you would be interested if you actually listened to what im telling you" she was quite aggressive! I recieved a call from a company introducing themselves as Energy Helpline and stated that they were looking to help me out on my Home Phone and Broadband bills. They convinced me to switch to another provider and that I had to pay an amount upfront for an activation fee? Is this normal? Then they stated they had a power cut as soon as I gave those details and they then had to ring me back? Sounds suspicious if you ask me, it has been an hour now. What is happening???

I had my details sold by Car Phone Warehouse, after buying phones....... told ICO hope someone does something as in their terms and conditions there is wording relating to this, but no opt in or opt out..... it s just wrong, I pay for a service, a phone and then they sell my details on.... why .... never ever have I had such texts/ calls as I do now all within a day of purchasing something from their site...

Older person came out of hospital today to find call from this number purporting to be from "Lisa at HMRC" and saying that there is a serious lawsuit against the person and he must ring the number :( :( Person is registered with TPS.
