keep getting calls from this number thank goodness I can block it, getting fed up with these types of calls

Allegedly from BT. Rang it back, answerable.

So far in the past week I have had 13 calls from these people. Thankfully I have a CPR Call Blocker fitted on my phone line, so now I don t even hear the phone ring. They do seem to be very persistent though. Hopefully they will realise soon they aren t going to get anywhere with my number and give up.

Left me a voicemail of a recorded message offering an information pack but didn't say the name of the company

I recieved a call from a company introducing themselves as Energy Helpline and stated that they were looking to help me out on my Home Phone and Broadband bills. They convinced me to switch to another provider and that I had to pay an amount upfront for an activation fee? Is this normal? Then they stated they had a power cut as soon as I gave those details and they then had to ring me back? Sounds suspicious if you ask me, it has been an hour now. What is happening???

I have been receiving daily calls from this number for about 2 weeks and every time I pick up the receiver the call terminates.

Called several times, hung up when answer machine picked up call. Suspect this caller is up to no good.

Appears to be an American number. No idea who it is. Checked with family in USA and not known to them either

The first one asked me personal info like what I did for a living and what I was currently trading... He then said he would put me on with his highly accredited colleague who then asked me to install an app called Anydesk so that he could screen share charts with me. Very rude supposed company constantly interrupting and insisting that I had filed a form on their website to get calls from them. Load of rubbish. Very unprofessionally spoken too, highly likely a scam company.

PPI claim company, said they got our details from a lifestyle survey but we never participate in these to avoid unwanted calls. Clearly lying, and from the number of people complaining I hope we ll see TPS/ICO take action and fine them.
