This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as a scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8452860xxx range... Did someone answer any number of this range?

Junk caller. Received call, said "hello?". Got no response then they cut off. Called back and a company called Pensions Helpline amswered. They wanted to offer me a "free pension review". I don't even have a pension so this was clearly just a nuisance telemarketing scam.

The person on the other end told me they were ringing to review my mortgage. When I told her I was uncomfortable discussing it over the phone, she got aggressive and rude. She told me my husband had requested a callback which I knew was a lie because he doesn t deal with this stuff over the net or phone!! when I said that he wouldn t have requested a callback she was really abusive and before she could hang up I told her how rude she was!! Fuming!

Call themselves Npower direct but this same crowd call from many numbers and sound like a call centre in India routing through various numbers. I have also had them routing through what look like London numbers. Web searches show this is unlikely to be anything to do with Npower.
