Claimed to be Natwest, I refused to give out any details but called natwest instead to see if there was infact a problem with my account... There is not and this number is NOT NATWEST!!

SCAM: First of all, an automated male voice saying ' Hello, Customer, an ipad has been added to your Amazon account'. The taped message was poorly recorded and there were several breaks and skips in it. It played 3 or 4 times continuously before I ended the call. I didn't wait for the end of the message. I don't have, or ever have had, an Amazon account. Supposedly calling from Wolverhampton.

Male with indian accent claiming to be from BT but I'm not with them for my Internet! I hung up. I often will not answer but it was showing a local dialing code. Is this a clever way to gain your confidence or was it genuine? I'm not willing to take the risk.

Called them back loads of times this morning (using 141 prefix) to ask if they would like to make a PPI claim, buy double glazing, have their PC virus fixed.
Scam. I use to work for vodafone, and the first thing i asked after he started talking was " who is your line manager?" "And what system am i on". He freaked out and try come back but not a chance. As for the question providing you managers name should be a problem, unless you are a scammer and it takes you 5-6 seconds to invent a name, secondly vodafone has 2 systems that are being used in the company and it s a very simple to answer this question for a vodafone person. I ve always had a very succinct answer to these types of calls. I do answer them, but when I actually start speaking to an op, I either spout copious amounts of four letter words or speak back to them in whatever accent they have, telling them I can t understand them and can they please speak English

I answered, a man was on the other end, claimed to be a part of a pension plan scheme, I never paid to on, opted for one, nor did my previous employer contributed to one on my behalf, told the man this in answer to his questions, he thanked me for my time and said bye. That was it, but the fact it was unsolicited, made it seem like a scam.
