SCAM: received a text message, allegedly from my daughter, at 00.54 in the morning which was 'hello mum, this is my new number. My old phone no longer works. Can you send this number a message on Whatsapp? 07706376356.' So I did. I then checked with my daughter, who confirmed that she has not changed her phone number. I have phoned the number twice since; does not pick up but does go through to an anonymous voicemail.

They called at 7.38am claiming to be from Microsoft and wanting to speak to the computer owner. They hung up when I answered no to all their questions about my computer.

Automated call Recieved a call from this number threatening it was a Fraud investigation giving me a reference number then directing me to press one to get through to an agent. If I hung up and ignored the call I may end up with a fine or court proceedings.no reference as to what the call was related to? Very strange and no reason why I would even recieve such a call. I ended call without proceeding but want others to watch out for such calls as the ber search brought up nothing in terms of an organisation

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. This number +447802691905, has been tracking my mobile phone, I have just found out tonight. I am very worried and concerned about this and for my personal safety. Anyone who is tracking a persons mobile phone is very Dangerous, Something need to be done about this.

Calling saying they were from Currys / PC World , accent suggested Indian caller, Currys / PC World do not have permission to call me - caller hung up when challenged on this. I suspect it was a scam call (your PC is infected with a virus type scam)

SPAM A very quick internet browse told me that this was a spam call and so it proved. Don't even know what it was they were trying to sell, offer, advertise or what but the caller didn't even sound sure of what he wanted to tell me! Just told them where to go.
