Got cold-called today from a withheld number with a man asking for the director of our business by his first name [my director] - he was insistent that he had to talk to [my director] and no one else. I was a little unhelpful as he would not fully explain the reason for his call. Had a cold calI from this number today. I answered the phone, could hear voices in the background. Nobody replied and the line went dead after about 30 seconds. I rang the number back and found out that it belongs to Logic Guard Insurance. I told them that I am registered with the TPS and asked them to take my number off their database. I also said that I will report them if they ring me again. I was told that my number would be removed from their phone list and I won t get any more calls from them. Let s
