There was automated call advising me there was a criminal case being raised for tax evasion

The number that called me 01890840335 is a scam call.Telling me there was suspicious transaction on my card involving £1000.00

SCAM Asked to speak to me by name and then hung up when I confirmed it was me. Possible scam or fishing for info. Number now blocked. Also had a missed call an hour earlier from 02038077025 so suspect same people.

They called me pretending to be Windows support stating my ID had been compromised. They were very convincing. Got me to share laptop using Anydesk and also got me to run a WIN+r function. After they didnt call back as promised realized i had been scammed.

Can't prove it but seems sketchy. I don't even live in the UK and don't business or anything. Not a single reason for someone from the UK to call me.

Asked for me by my first name, (the cheek of it). Then claimed to be from social housing repair, as we all know there is no such company (a legit one anyway). Furthermore, I know that my landlord do not deal with anyone that would just cold call tenants, especially one that uses an asian call center. Yet more thieving scumbags who should be ashamed of themselves.

SCAM - initial recording warned my electric was going to be shut off in a few minutes. When I transferred to a "representative" it was what sounded like an Indian man. He asked my name and verified my address. Funny thing is, my electric bill is in a family members name. He told me the "balance" and the amount was incorrect because I have my bill in front of me and an a real call wouldn't give me info since the account isn't in my name without other info. I received a text message from this number just saying "How are you my good friend" so I immediately blocked the number as I do not know who this number belongs to.

SCAM I was told it was Barclays Security Team, when I said I'd not had a credit card for 2 years, The guy turned around and told me it was Barclaycard Debit card fraud team, which to my knowledge, Barclaycard don't do a Debit card.

This number called me on my landline & when I answered there was a pre-recorded message to the effect that there had been suspicious transactions on my bank card. I strongly suspect this is a scam.
