Fraud When I answered there was no one at other end. Line was quiet for a while before it hang up
claim I completed an online survey (I haven t) trying to get me to sign up for PPI or accident claims and compensation, told them I m not interested and on TPS register. Requested them to remove me from their calling list (doubt they will as they are VERY persistant)
IAlleged to be from BT Openreach about broadband connection. Foreign lady. Not sure if genuine or not but favour the latter.
Two rings then disconnected !

This guy called me and he said he was a member of the association AML "anti money laundering" in UK and international also. He pretended he could recover money from crypto websites. (I don't know what is crypto). He knows English, french and dutch. He has strong (false) argument to tell you. When I ask him to call the association AML to be identified, he turns around the circle. I ve been called by this number 2 afternoons running - I let the answer-phone pick up yesterday but no-one spoke. I picked up today and after a long silent pause I hung up as it sounded like an autodialler at work.

SCAM Apparently calling from Sky technical team, said there had been Internet errors in the last 2 days and for them to rectify it I need to open my laptop and follow their instructions.... I asked the caller to verify they were from Sky and the caller went silent then hung up. Be careful people.

Caller said there was a problem with my computer. Asked him if he was same person making a similar call from a withheld number earlier today who used foul abusive language when I asked if he had heard of the telephone preference service. This time the caller rang off immediately.
