I have recently received a call from "HMRC". The computer informed me that a tax fraud case had been opened up in my name. I was then passed through to an operator who refused to provide any credentials and seemed to get rather aggressive.

Red Hawk Insurance on 01792735123. I missed call and 2nd one answered abour outstanding PPI from Welsh sounding male. Told him I was not interested and he asked if I had any outstanding PPI, which I informed him that my personal details were none of his business. He then informed me there would be another call if I did not answer his questions, of which I informed him that this would be considered harassment. Man with Indian accent asked for me by name, claiming to be calling in relation to DNS mail server problems. Asked if my computer has been running slowly or with issues and then asked if I was happy for him to go ahead with fixing it. I am ex-directory and TPS registered etc so asked how he got my details which he then claimed he got from my ISP. Clearly that wouldn t happen due to data protection so I asked for his company name and contact details so I could call them later. He said i could check them out
