This is a scam but a worrying one - the Asian sounding caller knew what account add ons I had on Virgin Media but some 2 years ago. Checked with the real VM and they have not rung me!
Sounded vaguely feasible until I 1471 d the number and got this one-was expecting a local number as she said (and was perfectly polite, no aggression at all) she was calling direct from my local Tesco Express. I hired this company for removals. They deliver your stuff and then claim there was more with a half empty van. They will hold your belonging hostage until you pay. I would give them 0 stars if I could. The company is called Riight Moves Removals. Satmeal Singh is the main guy, probably already in jail for fraud. I can see he also had a company called Stress 3 Removals and Royale Removals.

Male with indian accent claiming to be from BT but I'm not with them for my Internet! I hung up. I often will not answer but it was showing a local dialing code. Is this a clever way to gain your confidence or was it genuine? I'm not willing to take the risk.
Ring their phone: you ll find the voice message is by teenager who can barely read the script. The script is by someone who can t write - "If you have had A accident...". So if that s the effort and expense they re prepared to invest into making their first impression, imagine how diligent their customer service must be. Enough said.

Claimed to be our "local, government-appointed" energy consultants. Claimed fibreglass loft insulation can cause damp and mould and result in reduced energy efficiency. Wanted to send someone to inspect the loft. Told them I wasn't interested. I see the phone number is registered 100+ miles from where I live, so not very local then! This is apparently a common scam.
Didn't answer it as I did not recognise the number but rang it back they are called first call group a consumer organisation. ..now on my reject list

SCAM / SPAM Said they were from Sky Media and said in the last few days I had had 8 people use my broadband connection. Absolute rubbish as password protected and have checked the devices connected and haven't had any unknown.
I too was offered "work from home" employment by ING FUNDING (via e-mail). An application form and a contract of employment was attached to the e-mail which I am to fax to 02076811627, but there was no mention of bank details. Is this safe? I will cantact ING directly to find out if anyone can verify this e-mail I was sent. I ll post my findings as soon as I know whats going on.

Weird. When I answered, a recorded message said that the caller is unable to take your call. I don t know if it is genuine or a scam but I have never had this happen before.
